If you live in the city of Ithaca as I do, you should be concerned about the proposal for ‘good cause’ that stops non renewals.(I moved and Neighbor has me in the wrong city)
It has been said by several officials that this will have a hard impact on home assessments and increase our taxes while many high income new buildings will be exempt.
It is not what is in NJ or NYC
It is not expected to help those in need but to really allow those who are in positions of power to have more power. (Look at the exceptions)
Please be concerned about doing actual good and not political virtue signaling

I would love to know why we have several people in the area of Smith Rd/ Spring St that feel its ok to mow lawn after 10:00 at night.I still have to get up early to work. One does it about weekly. One had a loud music party Memorial weekend till the wee hours, then mowed his large lawn till 3:30 AM. Another was now in until @ midnight just the other night. Are there noise ordinances out here? Its loud even with windows closed.
